If you get the 'clear faction boss' advanced quest is when you might want to invest in a rare or two to 40/50 and put some throwaway gear on them just to survive the boss, but I wouldn't take anything trashy past level 8 or 12 cuz you're going to be trashing it eventually.Īs a reference, I'm around day 53 on a f2p mystery shard account and I have over 350 faction stars and am past the first boss in every faction except 3. Which factions you focus will depend largely on what you pull.
Don't even really have to gear them if you have a shield set you can put on a high hp champ to protect them through waves. If you're trying to get stars completed early just level food champ chickens to 30 or 40 on a specific faction and use those extra champs to secure the stars. Just try to find 1 or 2 solid ones per faction and get them to 40/50 and put some good gear on them.
Don't really need to equip multiple bad champs though.
